This is your club. Come and be involved!!
President Brandon, was out of town so Vice President Lester conducted the meeting.
Happy Birthday to Judy, Debbie, and Rob.
Dick won the nugget
We had several new visitors and hope they become members.
Calvin stated that he and Judy would not be here in July and August next summer so we need a volunteer to do the store and board drawing.
Doug thanked Dick for his assistance in acquiring a new claim that members will be allowed to use.
Elections of officers will be next month Sept 19. Everyone should plan to be there. Be thinking about who you want to be your officers for the next 2 years.
Earlier in the spring, it was determined that everyone wanted an outing/picnic on one of the claims instead of a picnic in the park like in the past. Since the river has been too high with this year's runoff, it has not been feasible. The river level is going down so we are planning the outing for the weekend following the meeting in September (21 and 22). For those who only want to do the picnic, it will be the 22nd. It will be on the Back Breaker. The club will provide the meat. (pulled pork) The sauce will be on the side. If you prefer or need a different sauce, bring your own. You need to bring your own table service and chair. If you are planning to attend, please let us know how many in your party (so we know how much pulled pork to prepare) and what you are planning to bring.
See you next month!
