At the Meeting

 

 November  birthday wishes to Lester and Patty.

Since there will not be a meeting in December, birthday wishes go to Brandon, Bruce, Mike, Tammy, and Ilene.

 

We had a couple new guests.  Welcome back to Randy and to Jerry who has been away for work.

 

Congratulations to Dennis for winning the nugget!

 

Discussed possible ways to have fundraisers in the coming year. If you have any ideas, please do not hesitate to tell us.

 

If you have any suggestions for outings in the coming year, please tell us.

 

Dick gave a presentation on how to use the LR2000 website.

 

Details for the Christmas party were discussed. There will be no meeting in December. The Christmas party will be Saturday, December 21 at 6 pm at the Community Center. This will be pot luck. Bring your own table service and drink. There will be a small gift exchange. Dollar limit is $15 If you are a guy, bring a gift for a guy. Likewise, if you are a gal, bring a gift for a gal. If you have kids, provide a gift for them.

     I will be thoughtful, considerate, and courteous to those around me at all times.

     I will only build fires in designated or safe places and in accordane with current federal,

          state, and local guideline.

     I will be careful with fuels and motor oils and be cognizant of their potential destructive

           effect on the environment.

     I will not refuel motorized equipment in the stream and will not allow oil form motorized

          equipment to drip onto or into the water.

     I will remove and properly dispose of trash and debris that I find.

     I will not remove stream bank material, destroy natural vegetation or woody debris          dams,  nor discharge excess silt into the waterways.
