This is your club. Come and be involved!!

At the Meeting

There were only a few in attendance.

Many thanks go to Tammy for volunteering to do the monthly door prize drawing.

Doug talked about the endangered yellow-billed cuckoo which someone had claimed had a nest under the bridge. These birds only nest in cottonwood trees and have only been found near Hotchkiss and Grand Junction.

Calvin talked about navigable waters and the Regulatory Flexibility Act.  He also asked if we want to continue giving away a nugget every month next year. Since there were so few in attendance, it was tabled until the January meeting.

There will NOT be meeting in December.  The Christmas party will be Saturday, December 8 at 6pm at the meeting place. (Community Center). This is for the whole family. Bring a dish to share. Also your own place setting and drink. For the gift exchange, the limit is $15. It will be a guy for a guy and a gal for a gal. If you have children, please provide a gift for them. We always have lots of food and fun. See you there!!!

November birthdays are Lester and Patty.  Since there won't be a December meeting, greetings go to Brandon, Tammy, Mike, Bruce, and Ilene. Happy Birthday to all.

Congratulations to Ilene for winning the monthly nugget.
