This is your club. Come and be involved!!

A big thanks to Jerry for donating this vial of gold for the door prize gold for June.

A big thanks to Mike and Cindy Shults for the gold donation to the club for pay dirt bags for the Delta Rock Wranglers Rock and Gem Show June 5.

At the Meeting

Dick is on a trip to Chicken Alaska with Bill Pease, therefore Vice President Jerry had to conduct the meeting.

Kim explained that since she is married to the state director and our secretary, they did some research of the by laws to make sure she is eligible to be our treasurer. As long as Ben has nothing to do with the money, she is ok.

Ben stated that we are having a problem with claim jumpers. Lester said the damage on his claim was by a claim owner who got thrown in jail. Lester confiscated his equipment.

Ben found out from BLM that mineral extraction is no longer allowed at Rattlesnake.  They had new maps drawn which are wrong and will be putting up "No Prospecting" signs.

Grand Junction is forming a new chapter. The paperwork is almost complete.

There was a reminder to get claim renewal paperwork into BLM by September 1st. It was also stated this could be done online this year.

Congratulations to Gerry for winning the nugget.

Happy birthday to Lonnie.
